Falconhurst Cricket Club has been left in a state of deep sadness at Mike’s very untimely passing. He was not only a great cricketer (last year he won both our batting cup and bowling cup), but more than that he was a great man. A true gentleman. Very humble and modest. One of those people it was a real pleasure to play alongside. He loved his cricket and he gave his all on the pitch. He also loved the banter and the beers in the pub after the game. He will be sorely missed both for his ability and his attitude. RIP Mike. We hope you get to watch some of our games from up there. You’ll be watching for a while before anyone wins both the batting and the bowling trophies in the same season again! here to edit.
